Part of my new job as a Scientist Apprentice is to weigh the chemicals to make sure that I am adding the right amount. Who knows what would happen if I add too much or too little. Maybe it would erupt like a volcano. That could be cool!
I've spent the last six months as a receptionist. I answered phones and made coffee. I did such a good job that now I am a Scientist Apprentice! The Mad Scientist is letting me stir one of her mixtures. Isn't this great, I'm helping to make Dove soaps!
The Mad Scientist took me to work with her today. She had me start by answering phones. She says that if I do a good job, then I can try something new tomorrow.
This is amazing! Here are some of my friends I met on the Aer Lingus flight from Shannon to Boston. I never thought I'd see them again. It is so good to run into others that know of my homeland. They are all so gracious to let me stay for the night. I'm so glad to see them!
I talked to Brother K and he offered to let me ride to Portland with him. He wants to thank me for all my hard work while I've been visiting. He is really thoughtful and I appreciate the ride. It gets me a little bit closer to Ireland. Some day I'll actually get home.
